LAI

Location Area Identity (LAI)




The LAI is used for paging and it tells MSC in which location area the
MS is located.

LAI = MCC + MNC+ LAC

Where,

MCC = Mobile Country Code
MNC = Mobile Network Code
LAC = Location Area Code
