International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI)
The
IMSI is a unique identity allocated to each subscriber. It is
used
for correct identification over the radio path and
through
GSM PLMN network. All network-related subscriber
information
is connected to the IMSI. The IMSI is stored in the
SIM,
in the HLR and VLR.
The
IMSI consists of three parts:
IMSI
= MCC+MNC+MSIN
Where,
MCC=Mobile
Country Code
MNC=Mobile
Network Code
MISN=Mobile Station
